WHEN IMAGE QUALITY MATTERS
What is Xray?
Xray is a very quick and easy way to produce images of structures and bones inside your body. This is done using a small amount of radiation that passes through your body and is captured on a single image. This is done to assess any symptoms your may be having as well as diagnose injuries such as fractured bones or dislocations.
DURING THE PROCEDURE
The patient is usually asked to stand or sit extremely still for a few moments while the radiology technician performs the exam. These exams are typically very quick and painless.
